Meridian Police Department

The Meridian Police Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

June 24

  • Simple assault threat, shoplifting and willful trespassing — 6566 Windsor Rd., Meridian
  • Simple assault — 112 34th Ave., Meridian
  • Disturbance of a business — 821 Wilson St., Forest
  • Telephone harassment, simple assault threat, stalking and petit larceny — 2204 20th Ave., Meridian

June 25

  • Carrying a concealed weapon and contributing to the delinquency of a child — 5108 West Gate Hills Dr., Meridian

The Meridian Police Department reported the following incidents from Tuesday through Wednesday.

June 24

  • Commercial burglary — 4900 block of Poplar Springs Drive at 2:55 p.m.
  • Stolen vehicle — 1100 block of 23rd Avenue at 6:17 p.m.
  • Auto burglary — 2300 block of D Street at 6:09 a.m.
  • Residential burglary — 1900 block of 8th Avenue at 11:49 a.m.
  • Residential burglary — 100 block of 71st Place at 6:28 p.m.

June 25

  • Commercial burglary — 4900 block of Poplar Springs Drive at 3:29 p.m.

Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department

The Lauderdale County Sheriff’s Department reported the following arrests between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday.

June 20

  • Malicious mischief-misdemeanor
  • Move over law and driving with suspended/revoked driver’s license
  • Possession of methamphetamine, probation violation and possession of a controlled substance
  • Failure to pay
  • Probation violation x2
  • Violation of seat belt law and no/expired driver’s license

June 21

  • Possession of marijuana in vehicle, DUI other substance first offense and speeding 10-19 mph over limit
  • Contempt of court for failure to pay fine
  • Driving with suspended/revoked driver’s license, failure to maintain liability insurance, expired tag and compulsory school attendance requirement
  • No/expired driver’s license, expired tag and failure to maintain liability insurance
  • DUI first offense, lighting equipment requirements and driving with suspended/revoked driver’s license

June 22

  • Contempt of court for failure to pay fine
  • DUI refusal to submit to test, illegal use of blue, red or alternating flashing headlights, driving with suspended/revoked driver’s license and vehicle liability insurance failure second offense
